Amanda Fieldsend

I have 2 years experience in waiting on and a year in retail I love doing both and have gained so many great skills from them.

In April 2022 I started my first job in Pontins holiday park based in Ainsdale, Southport where I worked in the restaurant.

I learnt good communication skills with the team to ensure customers were satisfied in a busy environment serving 200 customers per sitting.

Also, during my time at Pontins I answered customers queries and handled 2 customer complaints regarding food quality which were resolved in full.

After Pontins I joined JD Wetherspoon’s, Formby in September 2022 until December 2022.

I learned to deliver first rate customer service achieving a score of 94% in a mystery shopper assessment.

During my time here I followed all health and safety policies when handling food and beverages to uphold proper standards.

I relayed customer requirements to the kitchen staff to ensure any allergy concerns were addressed.

I attended Formby high school from September 2017 to June 2022 completing 6 GCSEs including Maths and English and GCSE Food Technology.

I have undertaken a business apprenticeship for 12 months at Contact Left since 2023. However due to the current cost of living crisis they have had to let their apprentices go and I am about to start City of Liverpool College to complete a level 3 Btec Extended diploma in Business.
