Delivered newspapers daily, Monday through to Saturday. Reported for work each day at 6.45 and the round took approximately one hour to do apart from Saturdays when two trips were required due to the number of extra papers & supplements. First task each day was to sort the papers into the correct order for delivery before setting off.
It was left to plan own route. During school holidays and sometimes on a Saturday would do extra routes when asked to cover for the absence of other delivery girls & boys. Over the 18 months of employment excluding own holidays never missed a day and even when the winter weather was severe, still managed to complete all deliveries.

Main job is to cook all the food that gets sent out to the customers. The menu includes a range of foods such as pizzas, hot dogs, nachos, spaghetti Bolognese and chips. It is also the role to keep on track with cleaning the dishes and keeping the diner area clean.
Also trained on the reception; jobs include taking bookings and welcoming guests. Must explain how the game works as tablets are used to keep track of the score and keep them up to date with any changes to the place since they've last visited. Gained experience on the bar and know how to serve people a range of drinks such as j20s, coca colas from a machine, pulling a pint of alcohol or making a milkshake.
The bar role also consists of clearing the tables and ensuring all rubbish is removed.

Job is to help the customer get what they have come for whether that is shoes, accessories or clothes. Must greet every customer that walks in and say goodbye when they leave. Also till trained which means taking transactions.
Once a customer is in the fitting room had to look after them. This might include them wanting a different size, colour, and style of jeans e.g slim or straight. Also had to do standards making sure everything is neat and tidy throughout the day.
Morning shifts would include dusting, cleaning mirrors and hoovering.
