Therapeutic Counsellor (Level 4 Diploma) with 106 supervised client counselling hours and over sixteen years of experience as a Registered Adult Nurse supporting individuals with complex physical, emotional and mental health needs. My counselling practice is grounded in empathy, authenticity and respect, providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment where young people feel heard, valued and empowered to explore their experiences. Working within the BACP Ethical Framework, I have supported young people experiencing anxiety, depression, bereavement, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and emotional distress.

My nursing background has strengthened my skills in safeguarding, risk assessment, multidisciplinary working and crisis management, enabling me to provide holistic, ethical and person-centred support. Having recently completed my Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling with Activate Learning, I understand the organisation's commitment to creating inclusive learning environments where students feel safe, supported and able to achieve their potential.
