Amelia Cohen

I am currently in sixth form studying my A levels in Religious Studies, Classics, and English Literature. I have a particular interest in Classics and enjoy reading about topics from Ancient history.

I have previously volunteered at the WiSE charity café in Boston Spa where I took on the role of a barista and waitress. This gave me experience in hospitality and taught me many relevant barista skills. It involved working as a team and elevated my skills in hospitality which I still find useful as I have retained the knowledge and skills that I learnt such as good time management and social skills and continue to apply them to my daily life.

I completed 9 GCSEs at The Grammar School at Leeds in 2022 in which I achieved all grades above a 5 (higher pass) and I am continuing my studies to take my A Level exams next year in Religious Studies, Classical Civilisation, and English Literature, all of which I am on track for grades including and above a B. I am also completing an EPQ dissertation on a topic from Ancient History as part of my A Level qualifications.
