Over the two years I was there, I experienced busy and stressful environments, and therefore, learnt how to overcome them calmly while still providing the perfect customer service. Not only did I learn new ways to cope with stressful situations, but over my time at Nandos I learnt how important it is to form new relationships/friendships with people, whether they be employees or customers.

Cakeshop Section Worker - Morrisons - Isle of Sheppey

Took on the role of working in the cakeshop section in the bakery, meaning I dealt with customers firsthand, and I also faced challenges and complex tasks regularly. I was there for just over a year and learnt various skills and pushed myself to overcome stressful environments. I learnt how vital working as a team was and how it can affect the work produced.

Perfection and precision are two aspects I hold in high regards when it came to my role. I make sure that everything I create is perfect and is held to the highest standards, so that not only the shelf looked full, but so that the customers are satisfied with their purchase.

Caregiver - King College Hospital

Family spent eight months in King College Hospital in the neonatal ward as younger brother was born prematurely. Over that time, had to learn to take on many responsibilities and use initiative. Learnt a lot of new communication skills through talking to doctors and nurses about brother's care and other families who were going through the same situation.

Help in all aspects of brother's healthcare, from special feeds to medications, which take high concentration and accuracy. Learnt how to be more empathetic and understanding of others in all situations.
