Amelia Latham

I am a BA Hons Fashion Management & Communication Graduate, seeking experience in Visual Merchandising within the fashion industry. I have had previous experience with fashion styling, trend prediction, & market research. As well as being technically trained in both Adobe Creative software programs and Microsoft 365 programs.

I am detail-oriented and work well under pressure, as I am always able to adapt and prioritise to meet strict deadlines. I am also able to strive when working on my own due to my ability to use my own initiative, however, as I am an effective communicator I am also able to succeed when working in a team.

NEXT (May 2022-Present Day)

I am currently working at NEXT Part-Time as a Sales Consultant. Through his time it has allowed me to gain valuable experience in Visual Merchandising, as I have had the privilege of being enlisted to complete display changes, to make sure the store is matching the current seasonal trends and mirroring the company identity, which has enabled the brand to successfully target their consumers.

French Connection (September 2023- November 2023)

I have also previously worked with French Connection on a Brand Event which was in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University. Throughout this time I was a part of the Marketing Team, which allowed me to understand the importance of understanding brand identity and consumer profiling to successfully communicate with the company's target audience. During my time working on the event I also had the privilege of being in charge of the Styling Workshop, which allowed me to interact with event guests by creating them their own personalised looks, which was all tailored to their personal clothing preferences.
