Street Food Business Assistant at Family Street Food Business (2015 – Present)
Since the age of 15, I have helped to run my family's street food business, taking on a variety of responsibilities and gaining first-hand experience of working in a fast-paced business environment. This role has taught me the importance of responsibility, adaptability, and maintaining high standards of customer service when working under pressure and still interacting with customers and supporting day-to-day business. In addition, I designed the branding and packaging for our own ketchup product, which was launched in 2016 and later received recognition through award nominations.
This experience allowed me to develop my creativity and attention to detail while contributing to a real commercial product, giving me valuable insight into marketing, branding, and product development.

I am a 19-year-old motivated and hardworking individual with several years of experience in the hospitality industry. Having worked in hospitality from a young age, I have developed a strong work ethic and a professional approach to customer service. I hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and have Food Allergy and Intolerance Training meaning I have a solid understanding of food safety and workplace standards.
Having these skills and knowledge built up over the years, has supported me working in the present for example being able to interact with others professionally whether this is in a staff setting or customers. Having always been worked in a team this has taught me how to build as well as maintain positive relationships around me. Having worked in both a street food business and a restaurant environment, I have gained experience across two different areas of the hospitality and catering industry.
These roles have allowed me to develop a broad understanding of customer service, food preparation, teamwork. Experiencing both settings has helped me adapt to different ways of working and how different business's are ran, whilst giving me skills that are easily transferable.
