Hard working, independent and resilient young adults. I moved away from my family to the UK at the young age of 16 to follow my dreams of getting an internationally recognised university degree and build a better and secure future.

Supervisor in The Mad Turk Restaurant, Stamford

• Managing the restaurant 3 days of the week and covering entire weeks during managers and business owners holidays few times a year.
• Completing opening and closing checklists and producing end of day POS & PDQ reports.
• Cashing up and completing hourly timesheets for waiting and kitchen staff.
• Filling expense forms and filing receipts and daily supply order invoices.
• Supporting in new waiting staff and bartenders training and signing off induction training and ongoing training files.
• Managing stock inventory - producing order forms for all bar supplies.
• Providing a high standard of service by taking customer orders whilst recommendations to customers expressing excellent knowledge of menu and advising accordingly on ingredients and allergies.
• Dealing with customer complaints and using problem solving skills to satisfy customer’s expectations whilst putting their concerns first at all times.
• Actioning discounts or receipt modifications where and when needed.
• Building customer relationships with going the extra mile and making time for table talk and recognising our regulars and ensuring they’re looked after.
• Managing the day-to-day housekeeping and organising the weekly deep clean to maintain the highest hygiene standards.

• Playing for +100 people between 2 – 6 hours on the weekends + weekdays.
• Setting up equipment for the resident DJ.
