Amie Bode

A friendly, enthusiastic and competent individual, who has experience in diverse roles and sectors, with a wealth of skills that can easily be transferred to new working environments; quickly adapting and learning new processes as needed. Ambitious and keen to improve my skill set and develop time to management and efficiency. I am able to listen and follow instructions when given, such as following Health & Safety regulations whilst demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude towards work, working within a team or on my own using own initiative. Seeking an opportunity in order to gain further experience and able to start immediately which will make best use of existing skills and experience to help also further personal and professional development.

I have worked in two nurseries in the past 2 years. I worked at sunflowers day nursery in cottingham in 2022-2023. This duties I had to take onboard would include, communicating with parents at pick up and drop offs. Socialising with children, playing games, doing different activities such as phonics, numbers and letters. Supervising children over lunch times and snack times. I have also worked in restaurants as a front of house waitress, i have great customer service skills, and great communication.

I studied a health and social level 3 at Hull College. Which included safeguarding, which I find very important when working in an environment with children.
