I am a reliable, vigilant, and professionally minded individual with a strong background in monitoring, access control, loss prevention, and Health & Safety compliance. Through my current role at Royal Mail, I have developed a keen eye for detail, maintaining accurate records, controlling the flow of goods through access points, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for colleagues at all times. My 14 years of managing an independent catering business also gave me sole responsibility for the safety and security of my workspace and customers at high-footfall public events, where I handled incidents calmly and professionally without supervision.
I am physically fit, punctual, and dependable — I take pride in showing up and doing the job properly, every single time. I communicate confidently in English, Swedish, and Urdu, which allows me to liaise effectively with a wide range of people including staff, visitors, and emergency services. I am committed to upholding security protocols at all times and am fully willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and obtain an SIA licence if required.
I am seeking a stable, local role where I can contribute to a safe and professional environment and grow within a dedicated security team.
I am currently working as a Mail Sorter at Royal Mail’s Jubilee Centre in Hounslow, a role I have held since September 2021. In this position I monitor and control the movement of high volumes of items across a large facility, operate digital tracking systems, maintain accurate daily logs, and ensure full Health & Safety compliance throughout every shift. Prior to this, I worked as a Kitchen Team Leader at O’Neills in Maidenhead, where I managed a team, conducted regular compliance checks, controlled access to restricted areas, and maintained detailed stock and incident records.
I also worked as a Line Chef at Legoland Windsor, where I coordinated a team of six delivering high-volume service for over 300 people daily. Before moving to the UK, I ran my own catering business in Sweden for 14 years, where I was solely responsible for the safety, security, and smooth operation of my business at large public events — managing access, monitoring activity, handling incidents independently, and maintaining meticulous records throughout. I also worked as a languages teacher at a Language Centre in Göteborg, Sweden, where I was responsible for the welfare and safety of students in an educational environment.
I hold two certified Swedish language qualifications — a Certificate in Fluent Swedish from Lernia Vuxen, Sweden, and a Certificate in Swedish Language Development from Folkuniversitet, Sweden. These certifications reflect my professional-level fluency in Swedish, both written and spoken. I also completed my A-Levels at Madina Town College in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
