After completing my degree, I spent six months backpacking around the world. This period gave me the space to reflect on my long-term ambitions and confirmed that a career in law is where I will thrive. Travelling demanded resilience, adaptability and problem-solving under pressure, qualities which I believe are integral to legal practice.
