I am an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed 3rd year Undergraduate student, looking at pursuing further education. I have a sharp eye for paying attention to detail and organisation. I am kind, reliable and considerate, and pride myself on my understanding and patience in different situations.
I have 5 years of experience in customer service within the hospitality industry, working for a large range of clients such as VIP suites at Tottenham Stadium, supervisor at Tenpin as well as festival and event bars. I achieved my Personal Liquor License at age 19. Outside of my career in hospitality I have run community projects including developing a clothing bank off the back of the needs I had recognised whilst working at the local food bank, where I obtained my Enhanced DBS.
Other notable interests of mine are human rights and justice advocacy, culture, arts and travel.
Unit Supervisor at Tenpin Bowling (2024-11 – Present)
I further progressed within my career at Tenpin becoming Unit Supervisor. In this role I took on a lot more responsibility being a key holder and often the only manager on site during my shifts. Whilst in this role I also continued my training responsibilities and helped support our site through a multi-million pound refurbishment.
Customer Service Assistant & Training Champion at Tenpin Bowling (2023-01 – 2024-08)
Whilst working at Tenpin I demonstrated my customer service skills, interacting with colleagues and customers in a professional manner in order to create a positive atmosphere and improve the customer experience. I quickly became trained in all departments (floor staff, bar, reception, kitchen, arcade and technical lanes training). Within six months I had progressed to training champion, taking on the role of inductions and training new starters whilst developing a new training program and materials.
Events Staff at Host Staffing, London (2021-01 – 2023-12)
Working as a bartender, floor staff, plate waiting, kitchen porter or retail at many events across London and the surrounding areas. Events such as festivals, premier league football, weddings, company events and private parties.
Internship at Hope Church Hounslow (2021-01 – 2022-12)
My internship was based on working with young people in the local area, as well as having a community lead focusing on foodbanks and refugees. This involved planning events, leading projects and producing well researched and carefully budgeted proposals to my managers and the rest of the staff team. I also had a safeguarding responsibility within this role and took part in safeguarding and first aid training.
At the food bank I assisted in customer service with clients, partners and receiving donations, organising and coordinating picks up and drop offs, as well as keeping shelves stocked and organised, being responsible for stock checks throughout the week. I also developed a well-being support role within out work with refugees and asylum seeker, providing vital support to those who had experienced trauma.
