Voluntary Animal Handler at Nature Is Burrow Animal Encounters (04-2019 – 06-2024)

As a volunteer at Nature's Burrow I would prepare the animals for transportation to each event, assist with event setup, and deliver interactive petting zoo and animal handling sessions for parties and community events. In this role, I managed live animal demonstrations, engage with guests of all ages, and ensure high standards of animal welfare and public safety throughout every event.

Receptionist & Veterinary Care Assistant at Warren House Veterinary Centre (05-2021 – 01-2023)

Working as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic, I handled day-to-day front desk tasks like welcoming clients, answering phone calls, booking appointments, and taking payments. Alongside administrative work, I helped the vets in consultations restraining patients if needed and typing up the note when needed. I also helped look after patients after surgery, monitoring their recovery and making sure they had food and water when ready, taking them for walks.

I was then hired as a receptionist, where I managed phone calls, booked appointments, processed payments, handled emails and social media, updated patient records, and helped clients purchase pet products.

Volunteer at Mill Green Boarding kennels and Cattery (09-2013 – 02-2014)

I handled intake and pickup, ensuring pets were safely settled into their accommodation and returned to their owners at the end of their stay. My daily responsibilities included preparing tailored meals for cats and dogs, maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the kennels, catteries, and exercise runs, and keeping the reception, kitchen all clean and hygienic.
