I worked to gain some experience in a nursery from age 0 to 4. I looked after them and played with them, talked to them and read stories. I started to become aware of how to set boundaries and how to communicate that to the children. I learnt how to be calm in a stressful environment and was always kind, caring and fun! I knew how many children there was each day and a brief understanding of ratio.

I have worked with adults over 70 years assisting my Grandad in his volunteering role. I served them dinners and drinks, also I made sure they were comfortable. I interacted with them and had a chat with them! I also helped to set up the room and lay the tables.
