Service Manager - North Ayrshire Women's Aid - North Ayrshire

I manage the service that covers the entirety of North Ayrshire, manage the staff team, attend MARAC, MATAC, DMF meetings, deliver staff and external training. Manage budgets, run 25 refuge accommodations, organise events internal and external. Provide reports to the local council and Scottish Government as well as other funders. Seeking funding opportunities and liaise with councillors, heads of service, police and work to end domestic abuse by educating schools and partner agencies.

Support Worker - North Ayrshire Women's Aid - North Ayrshire

Provided emotional and practical support to women and their children experiencing domestic abuse. Support in refuge accommodations, assisted with benefits, court proceedings, safety planning, running groups, police interviews giving evidence. Emotioanl support due to domestic, and sexual abuse. Assessing risk and liaising with police, social work etc. to provide safety measures.
