Amza Nantwi

Passionate 2D Animator and Illustrator. I spent years at college, university and even abroad in the US working on my skills and developing a better understanding of anatomy, environments and arguably most importantly, CHARACTER. And it’s all been graciously helpful and integrated into my own shorts and animation experiments. In addition to this, I've also worked in hospitality for many years and understand the value of speed as well as being a team player.

I’ve been doing freelance commissions since 2020 with studios such as Smoking Dogs Films. In 2020 I developed and wrote a 2 minute short called “PLANTAIN” which was submitted and received well at multiple festivals such as The Lift-Off Sessions and Sit Down Shutup And Watch Film & New Media Festival. In addition to this I worked with the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association and as the only Creative was charged with developing animation, graphic and editing tasks.
