• Conducted research using patient-derived healthy and diseased tissue, with a particular focus on endometriosis lesions, alongside endometrium and paediatric ovarian tissue.
• Developed and optimised in vitro models of endometriosis from cryopreserved patient tissue, with a focus on establishing organoid and fibroblast cultures.
• Troubleshot and overcame challenges associated with tissue dissociation. Currently developing co-culture models to better recapitulate the cellular interactions and tissue microenvironment.

Advanced Research Assistant - Sequencing Operations - Wellcome Sanger Institute

• Executed multiple high-throughput automated library preparation pipelines, including RNAseq, Laser Capture Microdissection Biopsy (LCMB), Index Sequence Capture (ISC), Targeted Nano Duplex, Single-Cell, and Genome and Transcriptome (G&T) Sequencing, using liquid handling platforms throughout.
• Led the implementation and optimisation of the G&T pipeline from the ground up — writing SOPs, conducting test runs, and refining liquid handling robot programs to achieve a robust, reproducible workflow.
• Investigated and resolved recurring pipeline quality issues through root cause analysis, and trained team members through structured 1-1 sessions
