I currently oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing for Direct (GMP) & Indirect material requirements for all product development, commercial manufacture, and pack operations. I am Responsible for leading global procurement activities in support of all elements of capital, direct and indirect consumables for all sites. This requires a proactive, innovative, and global approach to ensure that value is maximised, quality is maintained, and risks are managed across all aspects of the supply chain. The role also involves developing and maintaining strong supplier and stakeholder relationships and aligning procurement practices with CSR policies including PPWR, while developing monitoring and sustaining change.

- Created Process follows and Work Instructions for several of the activities of the team, where previous there was none.

Head of Supply Chain & Supply Chain Operations (SLT Member) - Greiner Packaging UK & Ireland

Contract role overseeing all supply chain operations and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Led and developed a diverse team of 60, including 5 direct reports, across multiple cultures and nationalities. Including Departmental and Material Budgets through strong leadership, through delegation and effective communication.
- Directed teams responsible for purchasing (transactional and strategic), demand and operational planning (S&OP, S&OE), supply chain operations (warehouse, distribution, and inventory management), customer services, internal sales, and graphics. Through flexible and differing management styles for specific teams.
- Graphics (Artwork) Team managed all customer artwork, approval, customer sign off, system management and plate manufacture. Including initial design, design change and regulatory requirements are followed, prioritisation and timelines where met for promotional activities and short lead time orders.
- Successfully delivered a £30 million purchasing budget in a GMP environment, implemented a global strategic sourcing strategy, and created over 150 SOPs to GMP standard to improve performance across the supply chain department starting from Zero, designing KPI's balance scorecards to highlight CI opportunities, to reduce waste and ensuring compliance and quality with BRC, ISO, and FDA standards, including but not limited to migration and lab testing, while supporting and delivering P&L and balan
- Improved forecast accuracy (FCA) from 54% to 75% using emerging technologies, introduced SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Power BI, AI and Agile.
- Completed several Kaizens and VSM projects and championed the use of Gemba
- Process Mapped several of the main process of the company to highlight waste, using Visio
- Headed the project to automise high bay warehouse
- Led saving initiatives in direct and indirect categories that provided £3.3 million to the bottom line in 2023 and are projected to save £1 million by year-end 2024.
- Developed and integrated the Performance Control Communication system for the Site, defining the tier meeting structure and escalation process for FMCG agility.
- Centralized the SC operations department from several teams to "One Team", boosting efficiencies and EBIT, and renegotiated 3PL warehousing agreements and using project management techniques quickly realise objectives.
