I am 22 and I have worked in multiple construction based jobs and really enjoyed it, I’m now looking to start a life-long career doing bricklaying. I have done labouring before so I am well versed in using hand and power tools, and have a good hardworking attitude. My other construction based jobs were rendering/plastering which I learnt a lot from in the short time I was doing it, and also property renovating. I enjoy the construction work environment and feel I thrive in them conditions compared to my current support worker job where I am always in an office, I don’t mind working high up scaffold or in poor weather conditions and always ensure I get to the job in hand early to set up for the day ahead. I hope to see myself in the future as a fully qualified bricklayer which will open up many avenues for myself in the future.
