Hi, my name is Andrew and I am a dedicated Strathclyde student studying International Business with Spanish, specialising in Business analysis and technology.
A great passion of mine is MMA: I did boxing for 6 years and now practise a mix of combat sports. Through the experience gained from boxing I have learnt how to make split-second decisions and also, that through relentless hard work and patience, you will get positive results - both in and out of the ring. This interest of mine led me to becoming a committee member of my university's MMA society.
Working with suppliers for equipment and merchandise, managing membership fees and managing the finances are just some of my responsibilities. This experience has cultivated my entrepreneurial spirit, allowing me to strategize, lead and collaborate effectively.
I have 2 years bars experience. I have focused on delivery exceptional customer service that goes beyond customers expectations. I work hard on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and I take pride in providing information on any of our beverages to enhance the guests experience.
I focus on communicating effectively with my team mates as well collaborating with them. During high pressure moments I have demonstrated leadership capabilities by managing and coordinating effectively with my team mates. My dedication is in delivering high customer experience and interactions as well team dynamics which has been instrumental in shaping my professional experience.
