I've worked as an environment artist across three AAA titles: DiRT5, WRC23 and Mindseye. During this time I have worked through every stage of production, and worked directly under art directors. Typically more focused on the overall composition or large scale overview of an environment.
Most relevant education would be Bachelor of Arts with Hours in Games Art and Animation.
