Summary
Qualifications in teaching, business management and art and communications, acquired along with ongoing personal and professional development have enabled the development of a small multi-media production company specialising in small press comics, portfolio building and growing a YouTube channel and website mayburyhill dot com. This has fed a passion for teaching business along with delivering seminars on thinking environments and YouTube techniques in education along with performing Action Research in education pertaining to cognitive load theory.
Personal Interests A passionate comic enthusiast, reading and creating them. Favourite creators include Grant Morrison, Scott Mc Loud, Jhonen Vasquez, Matt Wagner, and Chris Ware. I enjoy art from classical to modern, I especially enjoy the Pre-Raphaelite period and the work of Tracy Emin.
Broad taste in films, books and television; including the works of H.G. Wells, Peter Drucker and Tim Harford, Asian Horror and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Expanding my knowledge of business, education and geek culture through various means is vital to me.
I also enjoy building web sites, radio comedy, walking and swimming and ultimately spending time with my family.
