• Core responsibility #1. In Tax Reporting team, implemented parsing of logs with Python and Beautiful Soup for analysis. ETL Tax data testing. Onboarding of Splunk Enterprise for Tax component.
• Core responsibility #2. In Digital Banking Team testing, test case management and testing new API with Postman.
• Core responsibility #3. In CORC GRC (Global Compliance & Operational Risk Control team) AML (Anti-Money Laundering) ETL data preparation and loading in CI/CD TeamCity pipeline.
• Achievement #1: Existing UI automation framework in UAT was legacy approach. Problem was before they couldn´t control multiple browser windows. I solved this problem, and we migrated everything to Java/Selenium/Cucumber stack.
• Achievement #2: Assigned to new team for temporary automation assignment for QA for new API endpoint. Existing test cases for new API were all manual in excel. I wrote from scratch and automated 300+ backend (100% coverage) tests with Karate API testing Framework supporting go live and manual testers.
• Achievement #3: Parsing log output from ETL and onboarding to Splunk log system instead of reading flat file on server.

• Achievement #1: Went to Boston RD office to learn about Qlik cloud pipeline and successfully onboarded the Reykjavík development team to the cloud pipeline all the way to production.
• Achievement #2: Automated API REST tests with Postman to run on CircleCI via Newman. Automated part of many weeks long manual effort of importing many datasets to Qlik web platform and running it on Jenkins.

• Core responsibility #1. Functional tester for online, mobile and apps. Worked in the clearing and deposit team and online bank team. Testing bugs and new features. Test case creation, automation of web and mobile apps. Test data extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) with SQL script. Extensive use of Mainframe IBM CICS. Was responsible for the bank Android and IOs mobile apps testing. App automation tests with C# and Xamarin and Xamarin Test Cloud.
• Achievement #1: Created a SQL script to sync all test data with the scrambled RB mainframe test data used each time database was refreshed eliminate false test data errors. I was a subject matter expert, and developers and testers regularly asked me for advice. SQL testing the loading of client data during bank merger of BYR and Islandsbanki. Participated in one of biggest IT project in Iceland when Reiknistofa Bankanna replaced its core banking with Sopra Banking.
• Achievement #2: Bank merger ETL testing and onboarding BYR bank clients successfully
• Achievement #3: IBM mainframe decommission and microservice architecture implementation with SOPRA Banking Software
