I'm a builder. Solving problems and taking people with me to an answer is a significant part of my identity. And in a corporate commercial setting that means I thrive when strategy exists but isn't translating into action.

I'm needed when people in organisations need to work together but aren't. When decisions are trapped in complexity, politics or inherited ways of working. And when leadership teams are individually capable but not operating collectively.

I get close to the problem and find the real sources of friction. I create enough clarity for conversations to turn into decisions and owned action. The work happens before, during and after the workshops: unpicking context, challenging assumptions, designing the interventions and aligning senior stakeholders.

I make complexity accessible by surfacing what isn't being said. And I create simple structures to keep execution moving afterwards.

It is not solely about facilitating the process: although I have quite literally written the book on that.

A global innovation project working with executive teams internationally across strategy, innovation, organisation performance and implementation

• Led design, development and global deployment (x9 countries) of Insight Drives Strategy Programme for HSBC RBWM Retail Bank. 300+ participants all reported an average rise of 23% confidence in their ability to translate financial data into consumer insight; powering new marketing propositions and ideas across regions.
• Worked with Regional CEO (Middle East) and team across x3 interventions to co-create new vision and strategy for JWT MENA. Client reporting award win of Lynx Network of the year, Cannes Award winner and largest ever commercial win (c.$USD40m over 3year contract).

Solutions Director at the Mind Gym (2010-01 – 2011-01)

Built the consulting tool kit: transformation culture, organisational performance, business development and large scale behaviour change.

• Scoped, designed and co-led the delivery of an award-winning culture change programme for British Gas. The extent to which employees agreed with statement 'I feel I have the opportunity each day to have my voice heard' increased by 49% from pre to post event measures.
• British Gas saw a 26% increase in Employee Promotor Score. This programme scooped the Learning & Performance Institute Gold Award for External Training Project of the Year.

Creating content and delivering interventions for client projects and trainings across 60+ brands and businesses

• Consistently exceed sales and delivery targets of c. £250k -£300k.
• Many clients are now life-long friends.
• Busting the myth that business isn't to be mixed with pleasure.

Head of Product Design at Peter Symonds College & various teaching appointments (1996-09 – 2005-03)

Teacher: Head of Department: Author: Examiner: Curriculum Advisor. In addition to full time teacher, authored the Audi Design Foundation UK wide design competition, co-authored Create! with Heinemann publishers, a pupil textbook and teachers guide for KS3, and a teacher guide for GCSE KS4. Was an AS and A2 level examiner and coursework moderator for both EdExcel and AQA examination boards and a subject advisor in Design Technology for the National Qualifications and Curriculum Authority.
