now I am looking for a job for a Health care assistant.

I have Resigned in Sept 2024 as a HCA from BHFT NHS, to move in Nelson

Brief description of your duties & responsibilities

• Assisting patient with their personal needs , changing pad, toileting while working as a Health Care

-Assistant with elderly patients in Upton Hospital, rehabilitation unit. I was looking after vulnerable people, carrying different activities with Physio therapist , encouraging them to achieve their daily life goals.

• weighing patients to assess their MUST score and Waterloo score
• Checking Vital signs and recording
• Checking BM,
• Taking Blood (venepuncture ) for further investigation
• ECG
• Urine tip stick if they are required
• Repositioning patient if they are risk of pressure Ulcer
• Wound Care / Dressing

-Catheter care I/O recording

-Keep the record of Food and Fluid

-Point of care POC training

• Skin Assessment and recording on Body Map
• Mobility Assessment
• Recording patient’ belonging
• Updates Patient’ s records
