I have worked as a locum community pharmacist for my whole career in Pharmacy. As a locum I have always enjoyed working with different people, and I feel I can adapt to working in different environments and ways quickly. Different pharmacy settings I have worked in are dispensary settings in a community pharmacy, and providing services to prisons and care homes.
My day-to-day tasks included Clinically checking and dispensing prescriptions, along with carrying out Medicines Use Reviews with patients.

I have worked for various pharmacies providing the NMS remotely. This involved liaising with pharmacy subcontractors and patients, and discussing with each patient a new medicine they have started regarding compliance, side effects, providing healthy lifestyle advice and answering any questions they may have.
Clinical Checking Pharmacist - HeliosX

I have been working as a Clinical Checking Pharmacist for HeliosX, checking prescriptions for the online company Medexpress. My role involved assessing patient suitability for a range of medicines, primarily GLP1 medicines Wegovy and Mounjaro. This was done in line with the prescriber's SOP, and included factors such as pts BMI, gaps in treatment and dose titration.
If something was deemed clinically inappropriate this was referred back to the prescriber to re-asses, having left an explanation as to why.
