I have worked in care homes for elderly patient for almost 15 years and feel I am ready for a new challenge, I feel that this would be a great opportunity for me to build on existing skills and further my knowledge in the care sector I am flexible with working hours and keen to learn all there is to know in regards to the care sector and have a great passion for working with the elderly.

I Lead a team of dedicated nurses and care staff, carry out ordering, storing and administration of medications complete a range of audits including medication, infection Control, and mealtime audits. I am also involved in resident and family reviews and I over see the day to day running of floor which includes supporting residents with personal care, meals, activities and partaking in events in the community. My role also includes care planning with the residents and family's, evaluation of ongoing care and treatment, and palliative care.
I carry out the flash meeting each day and liaise with the multidisciplinary team. I provide support to staff by guiding them with the most upto date policy's and procedures I complete staff appraisals and supervision's and am also a mentor for student nurses.
