To provide strategic and operational support to Managers and all staff on all aspects of HR and Payroll issues at all stages of the employee lifecycle and to deliver a professional HR and Payroll service.
- Management of UK and non-EU payrolls.
- Liaising with and maintaining good lines of communications with agents providing payroll services to a number of GME sites in locations across the world.
- Responsible for compiling data from time sheets and clock in systems and submitting to agencies for payment.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining compliance processes for skilled workers from non-EU countries coming to work in the UK and ensuring they satisfy the criteria required to be employed and paid in the UK, inclusive of Visa and Sponsorship licence application.
- Working closely with senior and line managers, providing advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensuring that these are well managed and meet the requirements of the Company's policies, best practice and employment legislation.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair and consistent management of staff throughout the organisation, and ensure that the staff handbook is comprehensive and up-to-date.

HR Manager - Dyfed Steel

To provide strategic and operational support to Managers and all staff on all aspects of HR issues at all stages of the employee lifecycle and to deliver a professional HR service.
- To manage all Site recruitment and onboarding activities, ensuring the provision of a responsive high-quality recruitment service and the completion of all recruitment related documentation.
- To act as a specialist resource, to the Site, providing advice on highly complex employee relation issues such as Disciplinary, Grievance, Sickness absence, Performance management, Appeals, Harassment/bullying issues.
- Provide expert HR advice to the Site management team, ensuring that company employment policies and procedures are interpreted in line with employment legislation and are implemented fairly and consistently.
- Work with senior Site managers to develop an action plan to improve staff engagement across the Site.
- To oversee the production of a Site workforce metrics and HR KPIs, interpret and analyse Site performance, identifying and communicating areas of concern, liaising with senior Site management to implement action plans to improve performance and achieve Site targets.
- Facilitate coaching and development support for Site managers to improve their skills in managing staff.
- To work with Site managers to identify retention difficulties and develop and implement targeted strategies / actions to resolve.
- To work with the Site Senior Team on upskilling and succession planning to provide opportunities for promotion and advancement for staff across the Site.
- To provide direction and support to Site Management and employees on all matters relating to employment, benefits, and welfare matters, including advice on compensation and benefits.
HR Manager - Smile Plastics

To provide strategic and day to day support to Managers and Staff on all aspects of Human Resources and to deliver winning solutions across recruitment and resourcing, organisational change and development, policy and culture.
- Responsible for direct management of the HR function.
- Setting a clear Strategy for the function, providing the board with close support in delivering organisational change activities.
- Ensuring effective and timely delivery of agreed HR Projects and regular communication with all stakeholders as required.
- Overall responsibility for the onboarding of all new staff including the maintenance of all appropriate records, induction procedures, and training requirements.
- Management of all Disciplinary matters in line with the Company Policies and liaison with third party experts as required.
- Implementation and management of the company wide Appraisal System ensuring Initial and regular reviews are carried out by Line Managers.

To provide advice and support to managers and staff on all aspects of payroll, people management, current employment legislation and best practice, as well as providing guidance and support to all staff on the full range of HR and payroll activities including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, recruitment, retention, performance management, employee relations, employee reward, learning and development and internal communications.
- Provide support to managers in the recruitment of all staff.

- Manage the production of payslips, P45's and pension letters and despatch promptly.
- Investigate and correct any payroll or tax discrepancies and errors.
- Sending BACS payments for wages, Inland Revenue and ad hoc payments.
