Nine years diagnosing complex commercial problems and building the internal and external partnerships needed to solve them, across e-commerce marketplaces and consumer lending in Southeast Asia. Managed annual budgets of $1M to $5M, deciding which sellers received the investment. End-to-end work: analysis and business case, ROI modelling, negotiation, pilot, then rollout and performance management against agreed targets, with several programmes codified into playbooks and scaled to other markets.

A parallel decade delivering education programmes for Indonesian government bodies at provincial and national level. Currently completing an MSc at LSE, with a dissertation on outcomes-based financing for rural education and two consulting engagements, for a circular-economy social enterprise in Cape Town and a Native American tribal development corporation in South Dakota.

Category Strategist at ByteDance, TikTok Shop (2021-06 – 2025-11)

Ran growth, governance, and seller-experience programmes for the Automotive and Electronics categories, serving hundreds of thousands of SME sellers. Managed $1M to $5M annual budgets, built the category dashboards and the ROI and pipeline models used for leadership prioritisation, and convened cross-functional work across operations, risk, legal, product, data, logistics, and customer experience. Two ByteStyle Awards.

• MSME incubation during COVID-19: led an incubation programme for home-based food and beverage entrepreneurs, more than half of them women-owned, building the training materials and webinars that equipped these businesses to scale; participant GMV rose 77x between the month before and the month after incubation.
• Investment sizing and selection: led the Core Brand Growth Incentive, a quarterly programme against a $21M GMV target, sizing the investment, building the ROI case, and selecting which brands received funding. Set investment requirements. Target met, and the category hit its governance OKR.
• Fraud investigation: surfaced a counterfeit trademark scheme involving refurbished mobile phones and handsets through systematic landscape analysis, protecting $3.2M in lifetime GMV across 390,410 orders, then worked with the risk team to improve system detection logic.
• Governance programme design: built a first-of-its-kind Intellectual Property Right programme, negotiating terms with the IPR team, lifting compliance by 9% and recovering $1.5M in monthly GMV from 22 deactivated accounts.
• Root-cause analysis on customer experience: raised category NPS from 60.8% to 75.99% over 18 months through an integrated intervention across fraud, product, and seller education, including cutting delivery leadtime from 40.4 to 20.9 hours; first category to hit its NPS OKR.
• Recovery programme codified and scaled: recovered $11.8M in GMV through seller whitelist and affiliate recovery programme, then codified the approach into the "Seller Refresh" playbook adopted Indonesia-wide across all clusters.

Founder at Hehe Goodies (home bakery) (2020-11 – 2021-06)

• Launched and ran a home-based bakery end to end during a career transition, handling production, customer service, daily operations, and social media marketing.

Business Manager at Halodoc (2020-08 – 2020-11)

• Health service launch: launched an at-home testing service (antigen, vaccine, HIV) during the pandemic in one month, running the market research, go-to-market plan, and clinic partnerships for the pilot.
• Projections for senior leadership: built the Q4 2020 business projection for the sales and acquisition team and maintained the daily sales and operations dashboard, presenting insights to C-level.

Business Improvement Junior Manager at JD.ID (JD.com Indonesia) (2019-01 – 2020-08)

Owned profit-generating and process-improvement projects for the Marketplace division, from budgeting and ROI modelling through launch and evaluation. Reported P&L to C-level executives.

• Unit economics turnaround: directed the JD Logistic Subsidy project, improving gross margin from -13% to +4% and saving close to Rp 100 billion (around $6.5M); earned the Employee Hero award.
• Seller experience revamp: led the end-to-end Marketing Center revamp in Seller Center through data clean-up, dashboard redesign, and process restructuring, resolving the platform's top seller complaint since 2017 and lifting seller NPS by 11%; earned a second Employee Hero award.

Process Improvement Assistant Manager, Leadership Development Programme Trainee at Home Credit Indonesia (2017-01 – 2019-01)

Consumer lending business. Selected for a competitive one-year leadership development programme for high-potential candidates, progressing to Assistant Manager. Ran Agile projects across new lending products and systems while maintaining process-quality standards.

• Retention through segmentation: built and led a CRM retention team using targeted customer segmentation, cutting multipurpose loan cancellations by 4% in two months and recovering around Rp 4 billion (around $260K) in at-risk revenue.
• Product launch with external vendors: coordinated the Payment Protection Insurance launch as a fee-based product across internal teams and external vendors in two months, reaching 72% first-month penetration.
• Loan origination portal: as Assistant Product Owner, delivered a new loan origination website for walk-in customers, owning user stories, customer communication, UAT, and post-launch evaluation.

National Debate Coach, Indonesia Delegation to the World Schools Debating Championship 2024 at Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (2023-10 – 2024-07)

• Owned end-to-end preparation of the national team, coordinating curriculum, training schedule, and delegation logistics directly with Ministry stakeholders. Team earned Best EFL Team, a Top 10 EFL Speaker, and an octofinalist finish.

Lead Debate Coach, National Schools Debating Championship (NSDC) and Lomba Debat Bahasa Indonesia (LDBI) at Education Office of DKI Jakarta, Provincial Government (2016-01 – 2025-01)

• Across nine years, coordinated provincial government and Ministry stakeholders, designed curricula on education policy, healthcare, social justice, and poverty alleviation, and ran provincial selections joined by thousands of participants. Built a reusable coaching playbook producing 3x NSDC national champions, 6x grand finalists, and LDBI national champions in 2021.

Deputy Chief Adjudicator, National University Debating Championship (NUDC) at Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (2016-01 – 2018-01)

• Co-led adjudication for Indonesia's largest English-language university debate competition, joined by hundreds of students annually. Researched, wrote, and edited motions on development-aid policy, gender-based violence, and education inequality, and coordinated events across the archipelago.
