As a child, I spent a lot of time behind the scenes in theatres. I loved learning about theatre from the inside, watching the preparations for productions, watching the actors and their dramatic search for the right image and form.

So, later I came to the point where I want to record this process of self-expression. I am fascinated by filming behind the scenes - I feel like a spectator who sees a bit more than those sitting in the audience. For me theatre is above all about the artist and their little life in the theatre.

It is as if I can see this hidden other reality in miniature, the format of a single enclosed space of theatrical scenery. I turn to monochrome photography in order to draw the viewer's attention even more closely to the emotions, poses and body language of the people portrayed.

I am also interested in landscape and architecture photography. In my object photography I like to maintain geometricity, a precise composition, and an emphasis on local colours. I like to bring out the harmony of the surroundings, the interaction of nature and the metaphysics of a single frozen moment.

Photographer with strong expertise in backstage, theatre, concert, and event photography. Experienced in capturing candid and atmospheric moments that reveal the life behind the scenes. Skilled in reportage and documentary-style shooting, with additional proficiency in photo retouching. Worked with theatres and cultural organizations, creating both promotional and artistic visual content. Currently based in London and open to collaborations as a photographer or assistant.
