Kids Sports Camps Coach at Epic Camps (2023-12 – 2025-04)
This role involved organizing events for groups of 15-20 children aging from between 4-11 years old, with a primary focus on sports and arts & crafts sessions. I also supervised children prior to the camps and 'after-school'. Throughout my time in this employment, I learnt to address any behavioral issues promptly, allowing for harmonious team environment to be created.
I also adjusted my coaching style throughout the camps, according to changing needs and abilities of age groups, therefore maximizing the adaptability and flexibility of sessions. I was able to build the confidence of children by offering tailored individual praise and recognizing progress. I was also able to motivate children to achieve positive results during game play, to create a positive group dynamic.
Maintaining safe training environments was also key to my role in this job, in order to minimize risk of injury.
