I moved to England in 2014, I was tired of the same old routine back home in Sweden and wanted new experiences in a new environment. I completed my level 3 in Health and Social Care in 2024 and has been working as Senior Health Care Assistant since then. I completed my ITEC level 3 certificate in sports massage therapy in July 2025, level 4 in March 2026 and will complete level 5 in July 2026.
I am currently looking for a position as MSK assistant, rehabilitation assistant, physio assistant or sports massage therapist. I am mainly interested in a rehab environment within a MDT setting. It can sometimes take me a little while longer to get to know my co-workers but once I'm confident and they have got to know me I'm very chatty.
I prefer a laugh and try not to worry too much about things. I'm structured and prefer when my job is as well, however I fully understand that it's not alway possible in this industry. I'm a quick learner and not afraid to ask questions and keen on continuing to develop my skills.
I have had the opportunity to not only write care plans but to audit them. The auditing has been extremely insightful helping me while writing care plans viewing them objectively while writing them person centred.

As a SHCA I administer medication, ensure that care plans and assessments are up to day, cary out personal care and oversee the unit for the day. I assist the care staff and provide support to ensure that the care they provide follow guidelines and is person centered.

I left the job as I decided to move to England.
