Sales Associate at Next (2023-12 – 2024-08)
I worked both on the shop floor and in the warehouse. My roles included: customer service, tidying the shop floor, presenting merchandise and handing stocks. I worked with a team on various sections of the store, working efficiently to maintain a calm and welcoming environment for customers. In this role it was crucial that I could be flexible and intuitive, actively ready to fill any position in the store that may need extra help.
Waitress at Il Cortile Deli (2021 – 2022)
In this role I worked as a waitress and food runner. It was my duty to ensure customers were having a good experience and assistant where I can. I worked hard to keep the restaurant floor tidy and organised. This role required quick logical thinking and problem solving, especially around busier times. Communication with other members of staff was crucial especially when discussing orders and customer preferences. I enjoyed meeting new people in this role.
Sewing Teacher (2021 – 2026)
In this role it was crucial I was able to listen to my students and adapt for them. I learnt how to work with aesthetically pleasing styles and became detail-oriented to help guide students through their creative journeys.
