Annalize Kirnon

After completing my GCSEs, I will be starting sixth form at Thomas Telford School this September. I believe my positive work ethic and dedication leads to consistent achievement which is frequently reflected in my studies.

Volunteer at Saturday art club at The Budding Artists Society (2024-11 – Present)

I provided support to the director of the art club by assisting her in monitoring the class or offering individual guidance to the children who aren't as confident in their abilities. This allowed me to prove my patience and empathy through my interactions with individuals. Also, I provided additional support by preparing their equipment before arrival and cleaning up after. I learnt how to engage with different people and was always willing to adhere to their needs.

Year 10 Work Experience at Dash Agency (2025-07 – 2025-07)

I shadowed several staff members to learn new skills such as photography, graphic design, website monitoring and social media promotion which I very much enjoyed. I was also assigned a rebrand project for the week for which I created a presentation of my concept like market research and design ideas which received good feedback.

Year 10 Netball Team - Goalkeeper at Thomas Telford School (2017-09 – Present)

During my time as GK of the Year 10 Netball Team, the regular activities I have participated in involve weekly training sessions and regular tournaments which we've been frequently successful in. Being part of a sports team not only allowed me to build my communication with my teammates but also it strengthened my understanding of mutual support and adaptability.
