I am an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with Eight (8) years post admission experience in representing and advising clients in Civil disputes, Commercial and Tax disputes, Public Procurement disputes, Environment and Land disputes, Employment and Labour relations disputes, Probate and Administration disputes, Constitutional Petitions, Commercial Arbitration and Adjudication among others. I am a dedicated legal professional with experience leading high-performing teams in a diverse and dynamic environment. I am adept in developing and implementing service strategies tailored to customer needs, managing customer complaints, and driving customer satisfaction.
To that end, over and above my legal training, I am currently undertaking a certified secretaries course at the Kenya School of law which has equipped me with skills in corporate governance, boardroom dynamics, corporate secretarial services among others. I also undertook a data protection course at Strathmore University which equipped me with skills on privacy and data protection compliance in an organisation. I have proven ability to identify and resolve service issues, streamline processes, and exceed organizational goals.
I also possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. I am equally solution-oriented person with multi-lateral thinking abilities, which are flexible enough to undertake new and challenging tasks. To this end, I work well as a team player with minimum or no supervision.
Senior Associate at Bake Advocates (2025-09 – Present)
I joined the firm in September 2025 as a senior Associate where my tasks entailed the normal practice of an Advocate with heightened supervisory roles to my juniors. I have managed several high end matters and offered legal advisory services to various clients including the Nairobi City County, a case in point being the Mbaazi Residents case and the Northern Block Residents case. I have represented clients up to the Supreme Court and I believe my career really grew at this firm.
Litigation, Commercial and Conveyancing Associate at Wasonga B.O & Associates Advocates (2018-03 – 2025-08)
I joined the firm immediately after admission on entry level but have since risen through the ranks to senior Associate litigation, commercial and conveyancing. My duties revolve around the normal duties of a practicing Advocate in all disciplines of law. I also offer legal consultancy services to various of our corporate clients to ensure legal compliance and avoid litigation. My specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
Pupil/Legal Assistant at NOW ADVOCATES LLP (2017-01 – 2018-02)
I joined the Firm as a trainee Advocate in January 2017 after completing my Advocates Training Program (ATP) at the Kenya School of Law in December 2016. I was retained for an entire year until I joined Wasonga B.O & Associates Advocates in March 2018 where I work to date. During my period at NOW Advocates I received extensive training as an aspiring Advocate from Ms.
Waigwa (Former Chairperson of the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board) Ms.
Nungo (Chairperson of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal (PPDT)) and Ms.
Oduor. Through their training, I acquired extensive knowledge not only in legal practice but also in the administrative and ethical practices within an organisation which have groomed me to the professional I am today.
