Within my most recent role of ten years as a prison officer i was tasked with Organising daily schedules, providing structure and discipline for inmates. I spent three years as violence reduction officer, linking in with security and police to proactively manage violent inmates, record incidents, operate cctv, put in place violence reduction strategies and providing evidence for litigation. I was promoted to band 4 senior officer and became responsible for supervising staff Whilst detailing work locations for each staff member, linking with other agencies to provide care for inmates and maintain security.
I was responsible answering complaints Conducting risk assessments to ensure safety measures were adhered to in all operations, cultivating individual care plans to support complex needs inmates. Compiled detailed reports contributing to accurate record-keeping practices and Maintained comprehensive understanding of all rules, policies and laws that dictate practice.
