I am a highly focused, confident and enthusiastic individual currently working within the customer service industry but I am keen to continue my career development within a the manufacturing and cleaning industry. I have nearly 3 year experience within a factory and cleaning setting and gained recognition for achieving company objectives using innovation alongside excellent organisational, problem solving and communication skills. I have the ability to adapt and to make an impact in new environments.

Factory operative at Express reinforcements (2019-11 – 2025-03)

• Ensuring that the pre-shift checks where done on the machines used
• Setting up the pedal operated machine to the correct angle and ensuring correct mandrel was used to comply with British standards
• Checking completed bars for accuracy with a 5mm tolerance
• Using a gantry crane to move bundles of completed and non completed steel rebar
• Ensuring all tasks are completed by trained and competent operative and adhering to the SOPs

Factory operative at unipres (2017-10 – 2018-04)

• Working with robotic welders, checking welds where up to standard and that the robots and sensors where working correctly
• Following standard procedures
• Ordering and checking that the right parts where there to carry out my duties
• Measuring parts to check that they where all correct size with welds in correct place
• Checking and putting correct labels on the finished product
• General cleaning of the work area

Factory Operative at Claytons Glass Factory (2015-02 – 2015-05)

Working at temporary contract for an employment agency called Mtrec

• Working on cutting table, removing cut glass and placing onto trolleys for the next process
• Sanding edges of the glass for a smooth finish
• Ensuring work area is clean and tidy in accordance to company health and safety policy

Local Gardener at Self-employed (2008-03 – Present)

• Working self employed on my own round which I have built up over the years
• Using petrol engine strimmer and lawnmower to cut customers grass
• Pruning and cutting down hedges and small trees
• Pricing up jobs around North Shields and surrounding areas, providing competitive prices

Cleaner at The Queens Head (2010-10 – 2010-12)

• Cleaning all areas of the public house including bar area, kitchen and toilets

Working permanent nights cleaning GNER trains which involved, removing rubbish, mopping floors, cleaning tables, hoovering and cleaning toilets

• Using various cleaning products including bleach and toilet cleaner to name a few
