My main roles are overseeing all road markings works /contracts run smoothly, I integrate with all my staff members. Oversee quotations and pricing schedules . I oversee all costings and pricing document prior to bidding on forth coming contracts . customer satisfaction is extremely important and a lot of my time goes in to meet clients on a regular basis . here in the uk we apply thermoplastic on the highways so fortunately I have a great knowledge of these road marking manager - Colas Ltd - Yorkshire and the Midlands

- Full responsibility for the efficient management of road marking teams covering various contracts across Yorkshire and the Midlands including L.A. frameworks and H.E. 'MAC contracts.
- oversee the management of numerous simultaneous contracts as well as a high-volume framework contract with schemes ranging in size from £1k to 1000k on predominantly local contracts
- Develop and manage the road marking teams to ensure all valuation dates are met, measures are submitted on time and agreed as soon as possible to minimize debtor days. Dealing with contract/ measure disputes including meeting with clients when required.
- Co-ordinated all relevant staff and programing of works.

- Completing month end financial re-charges including applying any non-compensation events for each contract alongside the contracts manager and therefore setting gross and net profit figures, plus ensuring all provisions and accruals are submitted by the agreed deadline each month.
- Supporting operational teams with commercial awareness of output requirements, cost implications and assisting in sharing best practice.
- Driving continuous improvements including: Establishing and maintaining a plant pool system to improve cost accuracy.
- Develop and introduce bespoke pre-start meeting agenda to match varying contract types whilst maintaining compliance with company quality systems.
- Full responsibility to promote and enforce safe working practices within the business unit encouraging a zero tolerance to unsafe acts and targeting zero lost time incidents.
- Ensure all business work streams operate efficiently and effectively as a combined business unit maximizing resource utilization.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients.
- Ensure compliance with all company and statutory policies and procedures including leading on both internal and external audits.
- assisting with all aspects of tender completion for the business unit.
- Managing a team of operatives and staff in all aspects including training, disciplinary management, remuneration, etc…
- Local Be Fair ambassador during the role out of Fairness Inclusion & Respect policies which achieved CITB accreditation.

- Responsible for completion of highways works and site safety.
- Undertaking the vehicle checks are carried out and any default reported.
- I have approx. 17 years' experience driving LGV vehicles due to the driving law regarding plant which allowed plant drivers to drive these vehicles on a car license. however, I have passed my class 2 LGV in 2019.
