Aprar El-Harari

I am a UK-based 2D animator and illustrator, with an MA and BA degree in animation. Through my experiences, I have proven to be a motivated, independent worker as well as a team player. I am an effective participant and coordinating specialist.

I am eager to learn and develop my existing skills. I have the required skills to overcome any challenge and excel as a capable employee along with being keen in expanding my experience in other fields. I am familiar with all the latest in animation software and technique and am very enthusiastic about the possible opportunity of adding my talents, formal training, and creative skills to the company.

I am a passionate multimedia artist with a strong professional background in animation, graphic design, and storytelling. My experience includes working as a 2D Character Designer at Anamaria Weston, where I demonstrated excellent workload management and design concept development skills. I also served as a 2D Animator at Life Left Limited, enhancing existing animations and establishing storytelling procedures.

While pursuing my BA in animation, I worked as a Graphic Designer for PENSE, designing the annual University of Edinburgh Philosophy Society Journal and creatively interpreting client briefs. Additionally, I contributed to education, having been a Moss Side Homework Club Ambassador and a Class Representative at Manchester School of Art. I possess a diverse skill set, including graphics design, animation pipeline understanding, storytelling, and proficiency in Adobe Suite.

My academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Animation with First Class Honours, and I am currently pursuing an MA in Animation. My dedication to creative pursuits extends to my interests in the Japanese language, consistent life drawing, Grade 6 Piano, and gaming, which inspires my own storytelling within animation projects.

My most relevant education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Animation with First Class Honours from The Manchester Metropolitan University, which I completed from September 2019 to May 2022. Currently, I am pursuing an MA in Animation at Manchester Metropolitan University, a program I started in September 2022 and will finish in September 2023. These educational experiences have equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the field of multimedia art and animation, reinforcing my passion for creative storytelling and design.
