Over the past year, I improved my skills as a bartender and progressed as a mixologist whilst working for a local and tourist hotspot dive bar. I can confidently do anything required as a member of a bar team or in a management role.

The Bear Hotel, Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan — Bartender/ Waiter

July 2022 - September 2022

In the summer of 2022, I worked as a barman and waiter for a fast-paced, lively hotel/restaurant. This involved addressing multiple orders simultaneously, and fulfilling food and drink orders, all while delivering exceptional customer service. Within this role, I was responsible for open/closure of the bar area whilst maintaining cleanliness and a clear workspace.

Thyme and Tide, Truro, Cornwall — Food Preparation and serving

March 2023 - September 2023

During the summer of 2023, I worked for a high-end festival food caterer. My role was to prepare and serve seafood to patrons for 12 festivals during the summer season. This high-intensity environment allowed me to handle multiple orders at one time without feeling overwhelmed and was able to calmly deal with the pressure of preparing multiple dishes.

Education

Falmouth University, Falmouth, Cornwall, UK — BA (Hons) Music

I studied for three years at Falmouth University completing my bachelor of arts (with honours) in Music. Over the three years, I completed 18 modules where I would learn many skills that would go on to serve me not only in my musicianship but also in all areas of my working life. As part of my final year, I wrote an 8000-word dissertation on the growth of digital radio and also created a radio show for my final project.
