I am a motivated and dedicated Year 12 student at Walton High School currently studying Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Aspiring to pursue a career in dentistry, I am highly committed to developing the skills and experience required to succeed in a clinical and patient-focused environment. I am particularly interested in opportunities that allow me to build my communication, teamwork, and leadership skills while making a positive contribution to others.

Through part-time work, volunteering, and work experience, I aim to gain practical insight into professional environments, especially those related to healthcare and dentistry. I am a hardworking and reliable individual who is eager to learn. I bring a strong academic foundation alongside a proactive and compassionate approach to helping others.

I am keen to further develop my experience and skills in preparation for applying to a Dentistry degree and building a successful future career.

Alongside my studies, I work at Kumon, where I support children in developing their Maths and English skills for two evenings a week. This role followed a month of volunteering and has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly with young people, demonstrate patience and empathy, and adapt my approach to meet individual needs. It has also enhanced my organisational skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Completed 5 days of work experience at Milton Keynes University Hospital, shadowing healthcare professionals across multiple departments including sleep therapy, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and paediatric orthopaedics. Observed patient consultations, diagnostic procedures, and multidisciplinary teamwork while developing communication, professionalism, and understanding of patient care in a clinical environment.

Completed 2 days of clinical work experience at Milton Keynes University Hospital, observing healthcare professionals in specialist departments and gaining insight into patient care, communication, and hospital procedures.
