JBC SKILLS TRAINING - IT COURSE

March 6-week course

• The course involved learning about IT systems and principles.
• Doing Labs to replicate real work situations and using industry tools such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Windows Server, and SolarWinds.
• Developing knowledge of Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Windows Server using the platform to create active directories to manage domain networks. Creating domains, adding users, adding groups, and creating a Virtual Machine, 
• Learning about computer security, network security, types of security protocols (WPA, Firewall, Anti-Virus), and how to apply them.

• Dealing with customers' inquiries effectively, 
• Providing excellent customer service, through active listening, and communication. 
• Providing support to my colleagues, exercising teamwork, and also meeting KPI'S

April 2021 – May 2021 

• I was building a WordPress website theme from scratch, making everything customisable from the backend
• I was coding and learning new technical skills on the job such as WordPress ACF and PHP.
• My role also involved setting up a staging site using AWS.
