About

I am a recently qualified Adult Nurse, having completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Adult Nursing in September 2025. My training has provided me with a well-rounded clinical background through a variety of placements in medical, surgical, emergency, and intensive care units, as well as within community and elderly care settings. During these placements, I developed strong clinical judgment and adaptability, caring for patients with acute and complex health needs.

I gained valuable experience in assessing, planning, and delivering person-centred care, managing complex discharges, and supporting individuals in high-dependency environments. I was frequently commended by my mentors for my excellent teamwork and communication skills, particularly my ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care. Before beginning my nurse training, I worked as a Senior Health Care Assistant across both nursing home and acute hospital settings.

This experience strengthened my hands-on clinical skills and deepened my understanding of holistic, compassionate care for people with diverse and often challenging physical and emotional needs. I am a compassionate, motivated, and reflective practitioner who is committed to providing safe, evidence-based, and high-quality care. I am now eager to begin my nursing career in a supportive and dynamic environment, where I can continue to develop my clinical expertise, contribute effectively to a multidisciplinary team, and make a meaningful difference to patients' lives.
