Currently, I am studying for a Doctor of Philosophy in Healthcare Sciences at Cardiff University School of Healthcare Sciences. Prior to that, I acquired a master’s degree in safety and health management, with a particular focus on risk management, from the University of South Wales and a higher national diploma in safety and health. Furthermore, some of my most significant highlights to date during my research journey include engaging with the World Health Organization (WHO), national health experts, and health decision-makers and policymakers, identifying and acting upon areas of improvement in healthcare processes and services by consistently translating relevant evidence into action, and contributing to improving the delivery of quality assurance and improvement activities, including the delivery of systems that support clinical effectiveness and governance, patient safety, regulatory compliance, customer feedback, professional development, etc.
Consequently, such experience has allowed me to be a highly inquisitive, analytical, innovative, and critical thinker, attaining efficient relevant experience and prominent expertise to support the development and implementation of evidence-based methods and strategies to improve healthcare quality and safety, which, I believe, will enable me to effectively transfer my skillset and experience to this position.
For example, my experience and skill set can be directed towards supporting clinical governance functions and processes within your healthcare setting, undertaking governance data and information outcomes supporting the development of governance processes and implementation of changes in practice within clinical governance settings, facilitating statistical data collation, reporting, and presentation, ensuring quality control of documents and local policies, and monitoring and responding to adverse events, investigations, root cause analysis, etc. Moreover, my intense understanding of relevant research software like Microsoft Office, data analysis management and organisation software, and time management and precise organisation skills definitely guarantee that all workflow is completed without deficiencies and in a timely manner.
Consequently, I strongly feel my extensive involvement and engagement in various forms of relevant activities will enable me to meet all inherent targets immediately and promptly concoct the necessities of the advertised position.
