I am a Director of Estates and Facilities adept in Operational Excellence, Business Strategy, Stakeholder Engagement, Capital Development and IT. I am an experienced End-User Consultant, Project Manager and Advisor in a wide variety of engagements, with a demonstrable history in the Education, Finance and Hospitality sector.

I lead the establishment for Estates and IT operations, building refurbishments, capital projects, Health and Safety / regulatory compliance and support the development and realization of the Property and IT Strategies. I have an active role in Staff leadership and their development ensuring positive engagement with internal and external partners. I manage the Estates Revenue as well as the Capital budgets so that they achieve value for money and remain in agreed income and expenditure targets.

I adopt agile ways of working, both formal and informal, that allow for the best impact for our people and business.

I supervise the design and delivery of Health & Safety, Facilities Management, Transport, Security, BAU, SLAs, KPIs, Budgets, Condition Surveys and farm management. I am lead a multi-disciplinary team with operational responsibility of preparing and managing budgets up to £100m of ongoing new build, £8m Repairs and Maintenance, £6m Smart Campus initiatives such Immersion Labs, Crop Management on the Board for a Land Sale of £130m

I am currently an Applicant with IEMA (REnvP) working my way towards being a Chartered Environmentalist

Reporting to and working closely with the Deputy Principal Corporate Planning Finance and Resources, my key responsibilities include:

1. Lead and manage a comprehensive range of hard and soft facilities services and support activities and control the associated purchasing and contract management requirements. Estates revenue Budget c£8m
2. Investigate, develop, and procure small building / IT projects and minor works, provide ongoing project management, and ensure that works are completed within the agreed programme, specification, and budget. Master Pan Capital Budget estimate £100m
3. Lead and manage the college refurbishment programme in a cohesive and planned way to avoid minimal disturbance to students and staff 
4. Suggest and build the most cost-effective systems to ensure that the principles of smart buildings are adopted Ongoing Projects 2 X Immersion Labs £6m 
5. Lead and manage the capital projects, as directed including ensuring that works and services are tendered in accordance with college procedures, liaising with staff, professional advisors, and contractors to deliver the work on time and within the budget. Involved in Land Sale negotiations worth £130m 
6. Lead on and ensure that health and safety management are a key priority within the existing estate, across facilities operational activity, and within new build contracts, and that all statutory compliance and legislative requirements are achieved. The Head of Health & Safety reports to my role.
