Clinical Placement - Accident & Emergency (A&E)
Worked across all areas of the Emergency Department, caring for patients presenting with a wide range of medical, surgical and traumatic conditions.
- Assisted with patient observations, ECGs, venepuncture, cannulation (within competency), specimen collection and monitoring deteriorating patients.
- Supported rapid assessment, admissions, transfers and discharge processes.
