Dance Teacher (January 2022-August 2025)
In this role I was responsible for:
- Planning lesson structure over weeks for a class-wide goal e.g examinations
- Coordinating and training a team of teaching assistants
- Teaching classes with students aged 3 to 15
- Communicating class information with parents
- Choreographing dances for dance shows and competitions
I have acquired essential communication skills within my team and with students whilst in this role and have learnt to adapt to and overcome issues that arise within classes without disrupting the learning experience for my students. Also, I have undergone a DBS check for this role.
Shop assistant (October 2022-June 2023)
In this role I was accountable for:
- Greeting and serving customers
- Using a till system
- Using my barista training to make drinks for customers
- Handling cash & card payments
- Managing stock
- Working within a team and following managers directions
As a shop assistant I developed my customer service skills and was able to advance my abilities to rapidly learn, especially through my training in a barista role.
Drive thru assistant (August 2023-February 2024)
In this role I was responsible for:
- Taking orders from customers
- Using equipment to make food orders
- A range of cleaning responsibilities
- Using my knowledge of food hygiene to maintain standards
- Utensil sanitization
While working in a drive thru, I was able to work effectively under time-pressure and further develop my teamwork skills to work for a shared goal.
