I studied agricultural farming at Kirkley Hall College. My time at college started in 2011 through my experience at Kirkley Hall I have gained many valuable skills such as motivation, patience, social skills, co-operating within small and large teams and dedication. Despite it being an agriculture course it has taught me many other useful skills that can be applied to the work force such as working with a team of 10 men working together to get objectives done and fast paced and made me mentally and physically up for an hard labour which would face me in the future, I am very confident and visual with my work and dedicated too how I present it.

Moving from a chip shop manager to a street food manager was a huge step in the food industry, but with the hard work and dedication I put in to my self and attention to detail, I was tasked with calling clients for pitches and big events, hiring a team of 10, and making sure every single customers needs were met within the food industry, excellent food, friendly faces. Although it was hard to manage the whole team and four vans, delivering customer service. Whilst managing a street food team and vans I also worked within the angel of Corbridge as a CHEF DE PARTIE.
My current job role is currently working in the Angel of Corbridge as a CHEF DE PARTIE, my duties include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes I am able to delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner. Ultimately, my team & I prepare and deliver a complete menu that delights our guests and also visiting shops and fish markets to find the best deals on specials that I can put on the menu. Within this job role entailed delivering food around Corbridge and Hexham area. Food delivery service that we as a company set up to ensure the elderly community couldn't get to us made leaflets and dropped door by door letting both community's know if they cannot get to us we will do our best to get hot food to your door with an estimated time. High customer service & communication and a well known for the area was a great advantage as the food estimate delivered wasn't a minute to late.
Customers that couldn't get to us due to being elderly felt like an achievement knowing that even though they couldn't get to the takeaway/restaurant we made it our mission as a company to ensure the food would get delivered to them. Every customer that received food to there door could not of been happier.

I worked in a fish and chip shop in a local area in Corbridge starting with service and taking customers orders and becoming management. Within the first year of working as I adapted to surroundings and friendly customer interactions, dealing with GP, hiring staff, and also managing wages and costs of ordering with keeping the GP above 68%. Although I enjoyed it I felt like I needed a change of scenery. An additional role I undertook at the Angel to assist the owners is to also work at the Angel fish and chip shop for over 3 years, where I was promoted to Commi-Chef and CDP-chef-de-partie which was through my hard work, dedication and overall.

Floor salesman on top and bottom floor with shoes and clothes, although the Christmas period was difficult due to a lot of people Christmas shopping it aloud me to adapt to busy surroundings. There was commission pay within sales heel cups and insoles which helped me to adapt to customers needs.
Farm Worker - South Dissington Farm
Work experience during Kirkley Hall College course. Most recent work experience would be lambing season at South Dissington Farm. It was a massive achievement and I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was an overall success as the outcome as the owner of the farm offered me the job for the following lambing season. Also with tractor work and basic maintenance repairs with knowledge on engine's and knowing how to do basic repairs in and around the engine.
