Barista, Stocker, Cleaner and Counter Assistant - Greggs
(2024-02 - 2024-09)
Most recently I worked at Greggs as a barista, stocker, cleaner and counter assistant. My time at Greggs was the most impacting compared to my previous jobs, which let me grow as a person. My position at Greggs taught me how to work with others in a team to manage responsibilities as it required me to serve customers at the counter, make orders, maintain shop standard, handle delivered goods and handle money.
Along with general maintenance of equipment throughout the day. I also got to improve my communication skills, as I was directed to be more fluent when speaking to customers and report any issues to my colleagues. During phases when the store was less busy, I enjoyed talking to the locals and regulars as it allowed me to strengthen my communication.
Cook - McDonald's
(2023-10 - 2024-01)
I was originally employed as a seasonal cook at McDonald's tasked with cooking patties and frying food, which helped me develop my food safety skills as well as gain experience using cooking utensils. I would also then help my colleague to clean and fix a clamshell grill. This was a physical job that helped me gain problem-solving and routine maintenance. This job also helped me to develop my communication skills as I was working in a team.

Made sure that quests got to socialise with each other or with a member of staff, while always having a friendly and approachable demeanour to make sure that all the guests were comfortable.
