I have had an established career within the Civil Service with 10+ years' experience working with senior Civil Servants at Director and Deputy Director level as well as extensive experience line managing individuals and overseeing large teams. I thrive in busy and engaging teams, which my career has mostly been in fast-paced Executive and Private Offices. In my most recent role, my work sat in the accessibility and assurance space, testing a proof of concept to be rolled out across the largest Civil Service Department that assures service lines to ultimately improve our services to customers and compliance with the Equality Act 2010.
I have always been a proactive member of senior leadership teams (SLT), having previously been the Events Manager for the largest staff network in the Crown Prosecution Service, involved in many recruitment campaigns as the Chair/panel member and led engagement activity in response to employee surveys to drive forward results from survey findings to practical employee-led actions. A real driver for me in work has been working with people to get the right people into jobs and making the working environment inclusive, engaging and energised. Whilst I have really enjoyed my time in the Civil Service, I have decided to pursue a career in PA/events management as it naturally aligns with my skills and something I really enjoyed previously.
